A few days ago I spoke to my good friend John, we met all the way back in last summer, upstate New York and were the river trip leaders together…after the summer was over, John went back to University in New York City at Fordham, it was a beautiful campus. Talking to him the other day reminded me to look at some of the photos I took out in the USA in particular I looked at this one which was taken just off campus at Fordham.
Basically, the Fordham campus is in the middle of The Bronx…one of the more run down areas of New York City, the whole campus was green and had british essences. Off campus was run down New York and a large black community. I felt this image captured a typical New York living style…a clothes line in between buildings…
